Narrative

A young boy called Marcus is usually abandoned by his mother who is a drug dealer for Majestic. After, a fatal death Marcus’s mother dies and Marcus decides that it is “time to join the family business”. He begins to sell cocaine but, still aspire to be a rapper as his part time job. The battle between the Columbines and Blacks arise in the neighbourhood and deaths occur. Marcus then, decides he does not want to live this lifestyle as a drug dealer and begins to change his life. He has a family and a baby called Little Antwan, after a close enough death Marcus becomes a rapper and releases his song called “Hustlers Ambition”.Homodiegetic narrator- The narrative structure is similar to "City Of God" the beginning of the film is shown from the middle then the rest of the film is a flashback until the middle scene of Marcus lying on the floor. Then the film continues from present days after he starts his recovery.
