Ideology and Values

Due to the controversy the film has encountered due to the original film poster when 50 Cent had a hand gun in one hand and a microphone in the other, the people thought he was promoting a pro gun and encouraging gang activity. However, some posters see 50 Cent with a baby in his arms and a gun in his back which caused a lot of problems. Later, the posters were changed to him holding a baby. The iconography that can be seen in the film is a gun and a microphone which shows the transition from a negative perception of Black people to a very positive view. Secondly, the awareness of drugs and how young people are in America who do sell drugs. Thirdly, the diversion between status and power and how the typical stereotype of Black people is quite negative.
