The film has been influenced by the institution because MTV is a well know music channel that distributes latest music in all genres. MTV is a commercial institution, the difference it makes to the text is because it is commercial it is well known therefore, the reception for the film will be well known and recognised. The text has been distributed by Paramount pictures and the director of Get Rich Or Die Trying is Jim Sheridan who directed western films.
